Just be careful of that "50 shot" because I ran a 02 GT with 4.10's , Standard bolt ons.....whatever that might be? Tuned on a 50 shot...we went from a slow roll and he got me by 2....he swears up and down that it is only a 50 shot...I have a kit going on my car this week needless to say its more than a "50" shot....and he wont run me again... which sucks but atleast he admited that I would beat him...saves some Gas on my part

His mods are Full exhaust, short throw shifter, 4.11's and a 50 shot. Im pretty sure i got this one in the bag... What do you guys think about it?
unless they're setting you up... that sounds really slow...

****, he should run faster than that right? Hell I run 9 flat all day long. I would have figured he would run quicker than that. Maybe I am wrong.

GT's are weak sauce. You should put the spank down with no problem.

my buddy has a saleen supercharged (stock psi) 99' gt with cai, o/r x-pipe flows, king cobra clutch, injectors, 3.73's or 3.55s don't remember, and was on slicks his best time in the 1/8th was 8.6 and he's a good driver. so i'm not surprised with this guys 9.55.

With a good tranny your car should go low 8.x in the 1/8th granted you can cut some good 60fts. Didnt see you had a converter, but your car should go low, low 13's@105mph. I've seen a fair share of stangs run like crap, but for every handful there's one that will blow your doors off...LOL!!! Good luck!

just race him from a dig and hole shot him. he will panic and try to accel harder to catch you which will only result in tire spin. i do it to plenty of higher horsepower cars. people panic too easy when you leave them at the line. i took a ford lightening by 9 car lengths that way. i had my drag radials on, and got up next to him and launched at 2k rpms and had no spin. quickly hit second and listened the the whine of that supercharger get so faint that my exhaust drowned it out. he panic'd and thought he could floor it to catch me, and instead spun into oblivion. the holeshot is the key!
