Magnaflow is very deep and throaty. But gets loud as your foot goes to the floor.

Personally i tend to think that flowmaster is a much more throaty sound and slp a looser raspy sound...I think of magnaflow and dynomax as being a more "tuned" sound

I had flowmaster w stock tips on my old 97 it sounded sweet and the car ran 111mph with bolt ons and a hot cam kit w/ Ed wright tuning, and 106-7 b4 the cam and tuning. I liked it alot. Sounded great from idle to wot.

On My 00 Formula I had a random tech and that car went 108mph w/minor bolt ons. I was really happy with it but not sure if they make an LT1 version. This one was pretty quiet at low speeds but load as hell wide open. CHEAP too. Dont like a flowmaster on the LS1 sounds really raspy.

B&B on my 96 is very throaty sounding and I cant wait to get the LTs ORY and Cam in it!

i hate the dynomax sound, i had that on my first 95 z28.... so if ur comparing dynomax and magnaflow in the same catagory, then im not down for the mag... ive heard flowmasters are awesome but others say diffnt on here, but im leanin towards the borla or corsa but i cant find any used corsa. anyone sellin?

Im really impressed with my hooker catback its not raspy and sounds mean as hell under throttle. The only thing is its not stainless steel so keep that in mind.

I would avoid Flowmaster like the plague. Mine is basically rusted through right now. I'm waiting on a Magnaflow set up to replace it with. My Flowmaster set up is basically about to fall off because it's so friggin rusted.

yea slp lm is ok when its used with shorty, or mid headers but with Long tubes it makes it raspy and you will also get that popping like you can hear in the video at the 50 sec marker when driving....very anoying

That didn't sound good at all, I don't think I've ever heard a Loudmouth that didn't sound like a popcorn popper. I'll post some vids when I go back to TX and install my GMMG

And by the way, I have to get a new exhaust because my Flowmaster system that the previous owner installed rusted through. Go stainless. Either Magnaflow

or GMMG would be your best bets IMO
