It was the engine that was in the C4 ZR1 Vettes. It has nothing to do with the LT1 or LT4 engines. 32v DOHC 5.7l with Lotus-designed heads and a Mercury Marine block. Rated up to 405hp I think in the last couple of years for them. Awesome cars 
Produced from 90-95 in the ZR-1. Mated to a ZF six speed. All aluminum. Hand built by Merc marine. They are badass engines but are expensive and expensive to mod, but they make make some crazy N/A power. My buddy and his dad own a ZR-1 shop here in IL and they own a 93 ZR-1 and recently built a 460 ci LT5 that makes some rediculous power.
