Finding a NICE polished Alternator for LT1?
I am sick of looking at my stock LT1 alternator with the stock ugly fan on it. I want to get a polished LT1 alternator with a nice flat surface polished fan and pulley if possible(like picture bellow). Has anyone purchased one or recommend somewhere to get one?
I seen this on the interenet, but didn't see a polished casing?

I would like to find an LT1 polished alternator with the same type of fan as in the picture bellow.
Does anyone sell the polished casing alone or does anyone know if someone will polish for a certain fee?

Does anyone know if you can just purchase the polished two piece alternator case? Or does anyone on the board take stock alternator cases and polish them for a fee? I have the option of buying the fan and or pulley on hawk website. Just trying to figure out my best option.
If anyone has a polished alternator chime in!

I don't know about buying one, but this sponsor polishes stuff: https://ls1tech.com/forums/member.php?u=1561
He actually has the best prices I have seen on polishing items but I guarantee it will be expensive as hell to get it done.

yeah when you say expensive as hell... I believe every word of it. The stock alternator covers have so many bends, curves, and tight spots on them. Plus the surface on teh stock alternators are not smooth at all to begin with. Probably am going to have to just purchase one.
Not sure if different alternator cases are compatible with the lt1 alternator or what "model" you would call the lt1 alternator though.

Well the bolt holes will have to line up so you can't just use any casing. I know Summit has a chrome one for the LT1 but it is like almost $500! Either way you go you will be spending big bucks.
