Ignition system questions So I'm making sure I got all bases covered for the final tune. My compression ratio is 12.38 to 1, I'm using a dynaspark opti with huge taylor wires. My first trip to the dyno showed a miss at about 4200 rpm and up. I was told the plugs were gapped alittle to much so I fixed that and the altenator died right from the get go too. Should I think about any other upgrades on the ignition sys? I don't want to use a box so I was thinking about upgrading the coil but I'm not sure if it's worth it and if so which one should I get?
