Default Finally got some times with the 227 cam and yank 3200

Weather= 73* with 87% humidity

Elevation= 1250'

Best Run= 1.834 60' 8.21@84.59 in the 1/8 and 12.87@105.68 in the 1/4

All this on STREET tires at 32 psi...

i thought i would run a little better but i am happy with the 60's...
i tried launching at 2k once and i spun at least 30' so i then started launching from idl and 60's just kept getting better...

Yeah with 87* humidity Id be happy with that...Now go grab some 255 50 R16 M/T radials for your stock wheels and watch what happens to your 60's...Launch of idle and let the converter work with the suspension at rest...You'll be smiling! good luck!

Some Mickey's and a little suspension should have that thing doing high 1.6's to low 1.7's off idle.

I would think you would be in the lower/mid 12's with that set up..you plan in doing gears at all?

Thumbs up

nice...I couldn't do that with my custom camshaft from AI 8.8 et 80mph.
but that was before i put in my edge 3000 stall but I never ran it with that TC
but my bearing s bit the dust so i'm rebuilding my motor and my custom cam shaft got messed up so i'm thinking about trying that 227 cam out the specs don't look to bad for my pace mids but I have 3.42 gears.
still looking.

What gears you have in the rear ? High 12s are pretty quick considering the temp/humidity and a 105 trap speed.

First time posters bringing up old threads or asking ridiculous questions are either trolls.....or they're the Admin trying to drum up some post counts...…

There.....I said it, and I'll stick to it!

KW, one more option ....
a tech resident "myself" laying in bed in the evening under the influence of some sleeping meds while scrolling through old threads reading up on different subjects and magically thinking that the thread im on is current and I reply🤣🤣🤣
