What are some of the benefits of running the LT4 knock module?

Less timing pulled due to false knock = more hp.

10-4

Both computers can use the same chip...I converted from an OBDII to the OBDI and used the same module.

I have had issues with the 0bd-1 computer reading obd-2 knock sensors and vise versa. The knock module itself will work with both.

The lt4 KM will only help if you are experiencing spark retard due to false knock. Otherwise no benefit will be seen.

Is there any case where people will always pull timing? Like with headers or what.

Most commonly stated causes of false knock are roller rockers and headers.
Like bobdec stated unless you are experiencing timing being pulled by false knock there is no benefit to having the LT4 KM. However since they are cheap and easy to install they are not a bad addition to most cars.

Dont install LT4KM if you run nitrous. It will prevent enough timing retard.

It'll help with a bad exhaust leak too. I have one on the passenger side emissions fitting and it would cause my car to bog out a little when I first got it. The next week I got my LT4KM and haven't had the problem since.

I'd never heard of this. Shouldn't you be pulling timing out of the tune anyway? If your going to spray and let it knock and pull timing that way, I think its too late.
