cuz takin that plastic off was a pain in the butt....it took all of 3 minutes and u cant tell unless the cai is out of the car....its not like a took a saw to a $70k vette......its just a 94 lt1

Moroso....came with the car. I have no complaints, but I am probably going to fashion a ram air scoop of sorts for the bottom panel to force some cold air to the filter.

Back in 93, when there was no such thing as a CAI for these cars, I relocated my filter box to the bottom, with the opening (TB side) facing front through a hole in that plastic panel, took some dryer hose from Home Depot and a PVC connector and managed to pick up .15 and around 1 mph. Not bad for a few bucks and some creative thinking, lol.

K&N here. seemed like it felt a little better than the stock SS intake. Plus, Made more room in there with that SS one out.

LS1 Lid.. had it on the LT1 and still run it on the 402 Stroker.

its sucha a pian in the *** to get to. it doesnt fit right. i went out there today and i think the guy that sold me the car put the wrong filter on. went out and bought a new filter. works untill i order a k&n monday

I think I want to do the LS1 lid on my car. I only need the lower air box/radiator support. Only problem is it prob hits the factory hood?

i have the slp and have no problems. people who cant take the time to take out a few screws from the bottom are just lazy

In three years of daily driver use my filter has never fallen off my K&N FIPK.

I have installed both moroso and k&n CAIs on lt1 cars.Both are simple installs and they do the same thing.I would just get the one i could find the cheapest.
