Unhappy 94 Camaro Dash Question?

Okay My stereo was stolen and they broke the part of the dash that the installation kit bolts to not the radio trim but the Dash itself. Is this part a part of the whole dash?

A picture would help... But from what you describe, yes, it is part of the largest piece of the dash...

i will try to post a picture up ASAP i figured it was i think its like $900 dollars for a new one if im not mistaken.

I didn't have a real hard time finding a nice one for my friends 97 TA. Its sometimes hard to find one in good shape. Just call around some salvage yards and go check them out. I think he paid $200 for his. I didn't know that there were any venders that made dashes for Camaros still (I'm guessing that's where you got the $900 figure) because I'm sure you can't get one through GM.

BTW, that dash swap is a PITA if its your first time. If you have to do it again, though its pretty smooth sailing.

Shouldnt be too much $ at a salvage yard... Probably like $150 or so..

It's part of the main dash assembley, the skeleton as some call it, I ulled mine out awhile back..But I already sold it to another member
