oil coming from open header, bad?
oil coming from open header, bad? My car's been sitting for a while b/c it has a bad opti ( atleast I think ) and I started it up today to move it into the garage, it sat there all day, and when I started it and moved it back to its spot, I noticed that there was sludgy oil on the ground from the header, and its blown on the underside of the car a little, drivers side only... Valve seal's?
My Stroker does it when it's warming up.. expecially when it's cold out and I haven't driven it in a while. First time I noticed it was when it was parked in the Garage, back of it against the wall, and there were little black specs all over the white wall.

That's what I thought at first, and it was really slimy/oily.
Could be Carbon and Water mixed.. but it seemed like Oil more than anything..cause it goes away when it's warmed up.

It would be running super rich if you had a bad opti for awhile too, would cause lots of misfires which would equal exactly what your seeing........A sloppy fuel mess running down your headers.
