is it possible???
ET is really all about putting your power down. My PB was an 11.7 NA on the stock shortblock with some local shop ported "Stage Two" heads and a mild custom hyd roller cam similar to a stock cube spec'd LE2. That was with the stock salad shooters on all four corners, drag radials, and 90+ degree heat with only modest weight reduction. It surely had more in it but the tired old shortblock started to lose oil pressure so I retired it before it spun a bearing. That was at 160K+(!).
Was planning on 15" welds and skinnies up front and going for 11.5's stock shortblock with a bit more weight reduction, but never got around to it. If you plan on staying stock cubes do NOT overcam it with a huge off the shelf grind, since the motor will not last long if you spin to the rpms you will need to to run good times.
I appluad you for setting ET goals instead of HP goals like most do.

.. my car is a4 it is a performabuilt tranny stage two .
