Default can i temp cap/block off the rear brakes?

i just installed a ls1 rear with 3.42s and my brake distribution box wont work...i need a ls1 db.....and they only place to get one is the dealership and they closed on sunday....iv had to get someone to cover for me at work the past 2 days....i live 2 hrs away from where i am right now....i NEED to get back

any suggestions

it could be done but i wouldn't drive it 2 miles like that let alone 2 hrs. it could easily cause you to spin the car. have you tried looking at the hardware store or autoparts store for fittings to make it work like it is? are you just talking about the thread being different on the lines?

If the Thread is different get a Flaring Tool and the ends for it, that will fix it.

got a flaring tool and some pipe and fittings and made my own lines....its all hook up and not leakin ....the pedal is a lil fluffy fealin...gonna bleed them again when i get home

I've been driving w/o rear brakes for a number of months now heh I don't LIKE it, but my worthless friend won't finish the job on the brakes -_-

I just am very cautious now, and when I'm coming to a stop, I'm coasting way before hand, and am gentle on the brakes when stopping. I won't deny, if I had to lock them up, I'd be pretty screwed me thinks.
