if you dont plan on doing a cam or f/i the shortys/mids will be fine but if you do go cam upgrade you will be spinning the motor to more rpms which will need a longtube header to keep up with the more air being moved.

just remember when your doing mods make sure you have a plan and get parts that will work for that plan so you dont have to buy parts over again.

if you get long tubes get the best you can afford if you have to save longer to get stainless or coated ones it will be well spent money in the long run, and if your staying with a stock style exhaust you will need to get a matching y-pipe. if you do end up doing true duals you will need pipes fabbed up but wont need the ypipe. and get better header gaskets then what comes in the kit. i use copper ones from mr gasket and ive used felpro header gaskets with good results.

the fitment would be better with a y-pipe and a catback. i know you like borla but you might check out the hooker cat back. its one of the best sounding ones out there.
