Help me
Help me Ok guys. I picked this 95 t/a up on sunday knowing the car did not run and what is wrong with it. So I started with the ignition. The car use to just crank over and never fire. I installed a new ignition module, coil, and new gm opti today. Now the car will fire and try to idle but is barely idling. BARELY would not even call it that. Then dies. Its seemed like everything went together really well and did not have to force anything to fit. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! Oh and all fuses are good as well as all connections
One way i can tell if fuel filter is clogged, remove it and blow threw it (the correct flowing direction) if its hard to blow then its clogged, if it blows fairly easy then most likely ok.
1. Go ahead and change plugs and wires even if they look " ok" they are cheap enough
2. fuel filter anyways cheap enough
3. any check engine lights?
4. see if anyone has a scanner to monitor Idle air control valve operation
If none of these work- see if the exhaust is clogged by taking out the forward o2 sensors.
