Default Ok what next??? Suggestions.

Alright I picked up a 96 Formula Ws6 M6 with 27,000 mile about a 2 months ago. So far Ive done a few things to it and want opinions on where I should consentrate next.
Mods so far
B&B Triflow cat-back
Stock Ram Air with K&N
160 stat and temporary Hypertech to control various things for now (tune after heads and cam)
BMR Sub frame connectors
BMR Strut tower brace
BMR Control arms
BMR panhard bar
UMI tunnel mount Adj. TA with DS loop
pro 5.0. shifter with speedinc short stick
LS1 Alum driveshaft.

LPP LT headers will be on the way within a week
and LE2 heads and cam in the very near future + misc. valvetrain

What next???????

No bottle for me untill the short blk is built. I blew up my last Lt1 that way.
I was thinking clutch but It feels like its got a aftermarket clutch but im not sure. Compared to my last car this one is real grabby and more like on/off switch. Any way to tell without pulling the trans?
Brakes are on the list but mine are like new and stopped 11.2s with my old car.
DRs are also on the list but last time at the track the car hooked to good it stalled and fell on its face. Id like to get that addressed b4 buying new tires. F1s at 27psi and a smokey burnout with my suspension seem to hook pretty good. LOL, ran out of time b4 I could get a decent run in.

Greatlakes Dragway.
I went last sat to try again on import night and never ran, since they blew up or crashed left and right. LOL!
Then tried again on sun and as soon as I got a few miles away it started pouring rain.
If its nice out Ill try again tomorrow.
Best run was a 14.025 @ 101.XX with a 2.3 60ft. Ive only had 3 runs and need to figure this car out for some good 13 sec runs.

Man, imports just blow up around you all day long huh?

I wish they did that near me, so I could laugh

I'd start thinking about a good clutch, and a 12 bolt or 9 inch that's geared next. Don't forget the slicks Those will compliment the head and cam package very nicely.

It wasnt funny. I paid 40 bucks to sit in the staging lanes where you cant see anything.

On the plus side gives me another notch im my "Why never to buy an Import" state of mind.

Im thinking a rear end would be nice or a clutch. but id rather have the clutch slip than the rear end blow. So I think tires are next............but maybe not......?????

Do that clutch, your going to need it anyways at some point. Just go easy, slip it rather than dump it at the track. Even with slicks your rear will hold for a little while.

Rear end, you can save that 2,000.00 and get the heads and cam first before your really going to need that.

So clutch and tires, if you need tires (or radials) of course...

oh for sure the H/C first. I swear it feels like there is a clutch in it compared to my last car. Is there anyway to tell without pulling the trans

If it feels like it does, maybe it does. That would really be the only way of telling. You have driven both so you would be able to tell easy.

Id be so pissed to buy one and then fnd out there is one in already.

Ya this one feels stiffer and grabby more like an off/on switch rather than how smooth and easy to slip the old car was.
That old stock clutch took tons of abuse & lots of runs at the track, even down to 11.2s @ 120+ and never blew or slipped. The rear end with motive 3.73s and a TA girdle held up fine also

You wont start breaking stuff until you dead hook with a good clutch and some stickies on a nice dump... So just be easy and you can make that 10 bolt last and even get some good times.

Yeah like 1.8s were my best 60s back then on DRs so not to hard on the clutch or rear.

I ordered my headers on thursday.
Im ordering my LE2 heads and cam as soon as Llyod calls me back! I wanted to get them ordered today but it might have to wait untill tues..

4.10s and DRs in the back will be next followed up by a good clutch then a 9inch is after all that.

After all that is done I will Pick up a new block bump it up a few cubes and build the **** out of it for spray or F/A.

Man this car is gonna be a beast!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Think it will yank a tire at the track?

You could do it with that and say, some real good launches and obviously lots of practice with your new setup. Dont skimp on that clutch, your still going to be launching high
