makes 3 of us, puting a nitrous motor toghether right now, 385 11.4:1,227 dart pro 1 converter over to lt1, supervictor intake....and the works

On a side note I will be sending my 18* stuff off soon to be converted

 

i wont be back out till spring, going to take it slow this time around. Right now i'm working on taking more weight out of the car(tin can racing ) hopfully get her down to 2900-2800, i lost a lot of weight myself non racing season about 55lbs total. Plan on taking about 200+lbs of the car all toghether, i mean the blower set up alone was 60lbs+

 

That sounds pretty sweet.

Our season here is done anyhow; wanted to make SCSN in Vegas, but o well. We'll be back out next year with mo fire power!!!!

Has anyone converted the DA to sea level and crunched the numbers? Is that like a 8.50 in 1500 ft DA?


Damn impressive car.....man you need to come south, we have some awesome outlaw/limited street type stuff down here. Put some drag radials on it and you look to be EZ street legal down here!

 

This last time out I had the 275 radials on it. Took some work, but we got the sixty down to a 1.32. And I think there was more left on the table there, we just didn't want to stand it up on the bumper so we were coming in slowly.


First qualifying was an easy 9.08 @ 153
Second qualifying was a 9.03 @ 149...it decided to nip a plug and do some cylinder damage somewhere around the 1000 mark. Bummer too, because that was my 8!!!!!

You pretty much nailed it @ 8.50 at least per NHRA adjustments.... Not an exact science, but its fun to use anyways....

If I don't go to a Dart Little M over the winter; I'm sure we'll get that 8 up here on the mountain. This was kinda of a "rookie" year for us. Lots of new stuff that we were sorting out and getting dialed in during '08.

To see a 9.03 outta the car this year was leaps and bounds over our original goal for the first year.
