Knock count isn't a big thing. Knock retard is what you really need to watch. You're showing 1.1* retard at idle......something isn't right there. Email me your log and I'll take a look at it.
Malf 36 Hello,
94 LT1 started running rough a few weeks age. then 2 days ago, car started cutting off randomly. always when i am almost home. i live 30 minutes from work and i drive in city and rural traffic so car has enough time to heat up. so it seems that the problem maybe be heat related but I also read here that it maybe the ICM. either way, i really didn't see an answer to the fix for a MALF 36 error.
I also have a Datamaster file that I can include if someone would like to look at it.

Had a problem like this my self. About 18 months ago. About 3 months ago problem returned and i was chasing everything down Replaced my new /////msd Coil with a stock GM coil and lost the code 16 and 36 about 2 weeks later i noticed the car sounding differnt at higher rpms and mid level. replaced the icm a week later i bought a new opti. If you end up going the opti route make sure its a new GM save your self a big headache
