Morel Lifter preload??

Need to set the preload on my Link bar Morel lifters, couldn't get ahold of anyone to help me today, lol.

I have heard 2/3rd turn on a 7/16th stud is .030 preload??
Didn't know if this was true or even accurate??

I am not setting these hot, motor will be cold.

Any help is appreciated.

i read on here somewhere about it being .010 or something close. think it ends up being about a 1/4 turn. pretty sure i read that on one of twofast4lv's post

I set mine to .012 hot. or 1/6th of a turn

How big of a difference from a cold Vs hot setting??

I have mixed rockers(aluminium and Stainless) so i just do it at 180

The newest Morel 'super' lifters call for zero preload. There is only .030" travel of the push rod seat.

Talked to Lloyd the other day and he recommened 1/8 turn after zero lash. Were going to try that.
