damn reading yalls numbers makes me sad. i barely etch 10mpg, all city though. low 240s in/ex duration and low .600" at 1.6 with 4.11s in a 9". edit: forgot to mention on a 106 lsa. passed emissions no problem

Yeah, but the horsepower gains far outweigh the pain of the cost of fuel
I dont plan on getting good gas mileage when I do my swap this winter, If I still do I will be happy with that though no doubt.

If tuned well the mileage concerns are minimal.
My 3.73'd 3400 stalled sedan packing over 200hp mor than my bone stock wagon gets 19mph or so, wagon gets 22 on the same driving. Wagon picks up to near 24mpg on the highway the sedan does not pickup much due to the gears. My tune is just mailorder from a good tuner, not tweaked beyond that.

My buddy Scott told me yestrday that he got 27.5 hwy last weekend on a road trip his car is an Ai head and cam stock shortblock 6 speed car with
373 gears. He may chime in. I hope my car pulls simular numbers when the new shortblock is finished
