The other option is to use an LS1-style mount, they're a little tougher than the old ones.
$20 is a lot better than $66.50 (That's with a shop discount at Discount Auto). It'll definetly be a lot better than all the banging and crunching that's going on now.

Most likely. Same mount design for the most part.

What, did everyone decide to blow out their tranny mounts at the same time?

I am telling you, GM just sent the electronic word out to all of our cars.... Blow out tranny mount.

Luckily mine was replaced relatively recently

Oh I've just put two and two together since I'm doing a motor swap. Mine's probably been shot for well over a year, no one had ever recommended tranny mount when I mentioned my banging noise upon heavy throttle. Oh that's just how body mount torque arms are they would say.

I went to Discount Auto and Napa today to look for one. Discount only had the stock ones.

Stock one at Discount Auto with shop discount.

The Napa guy broke out a book that had three models. Two were for cars and said, "Check application", but had no relevance to what they looked like except for two pictures. That one k0261886 posted looked like one of them, but it had bolts in each of the outer holes. I think I'm going to order that one. The only problem is it's special order.... We'll see.
