I have one on my 93 but it's speed density. Won't
the computer on 94-up LT1's set the fuel pressure
back to stock if you do adjust it with a AFPR?

That is correct the fuel psi will reset to factory 43.5 unless you make some changes in the ECM.

My car was running rich with the custom tune, so I dropped
the FP to 40psi

No the car will not reset itself to stock pressure, it can't but it will change its fuel maps according to the fuel that is being delievered at the new pressure so it can change pulse widths and fuel curves a bit. So weither or not its going to affect things for very long its hard to say. Most people say leave the stocker on there until you need to get a bigger regulator to bypass more fuel...at that point you are going to bigger lines as well.

Save the $100 or so unless your stocker took a dump on you then why not go for an adjustible one at least then you can make sure its where it is suppose to be. But I wouldn't change it just to be changing it.
