who will port LT1 heads better? LE or AI?

I told Lloyd I just picked up a LE3 intake from Someone one here. He is going to take it and check it out, drill the bolt holes larger so they will work with, milling the LE2 heads more for just a bit more compression for free. I just have to ship him the intake.
Just another one of the great things about his service.

Yes he said he wasnt sure if it was done or not since yours is a 385 and didnt need it done. Can you run a 1/2 drill bit through the bolt holes on it?

That's a really bad idea, IMO. You don't know what you are getting yourself into.

Call both AI and LE and discuss your ideas with both. Keep you mind open: they know a lot more than you do about this.

I am surprised this has not yet become a flame war. Where are the usual suspects?

if i were you i would go with AI's package for $1975...nice setup there...i think that im going to go with that on my motor..its a 355 so when i do do this i hope to tell everyone how it worked out for me!!

but then agian i also dont have anything against le either...he has nice work...do what old said and talk to both of them about your ideas and do what suits you best man
