Default AC blowing out the bottom

My AC in my 96 LT1 is blowing out the bottom regardless of the settings(top, bottom, or inbetween). I know its a vacuum line that opens the gate to the top vents and that the hose must have come off cause Ive had the problem in other vehicles. What im asking is if anybody knows where this line is, I dont feel like tearing into the dash or firewall or anything looking for the darn thing when im not sure exactly where it is to begin with. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanx.

it's on the passenger side near the back firewall if I remember correctly. It's a little cylinder shaped things with 3 lines to it - one to the evap canister, one to the manifold, and one to the mode selector inside the car. It's just basically a check valve.

Thanx guys. I found what yall were talking about and the check valve was almost completely deteriorated. Two of the vacum lines werent even connected and one was on barely by what could easily be called a plastic thread. I'll have to go by the part monday...thanx for the help guys!
