nothing really to big....motor mounts, the hump for the tranny might be a little small, and now here is where everyone frustrates theirselves the harness and pcm.. dont get frustrated with this speartech is awesome and can rework the one you have and set it up for the chevelle to be a direct plug up and go...the put a new fuse block on it and it works great...call them and give them your situation and they will work with you...really nice guys over there too...we are doing a lt1 motor in a 51 chevy truck and speartech worked with me on everything and set me up nicely..i love the way they work...they also did my 94 camaros harness

While I'm not a fan of the 70 Chevelle (too many around, I like the older lead sled style), I'm less of a fan of muscle cars laying to waste! Seeing as you have a full donor car, and assuming it's a SBC Malibu, the only complication would be trans brace. Assuming you use the A4 from yours. I wouldn't be surprised if there's one for a 700R4 though, due to some people wanting a nice car with more street manners (overdrive). Basically, other than that, you'd need a converter for your speedo to make the trans cable driven.
Getting back to your donor car, you have all the wiring you'd need, fuse box if you wanted to use it, radiator if you wanted to try and get it to fit. You could even use GEN I headers for that car since they'd be round port and ours are D port. And a D is just an O with a flat back
Try and get a motor from a wrecked early 90s 454SS pickup to please Fergy Then get a RAMJET 502 setup for it to please you wanting an LT1!

My buddy did this swap in a 71 Chevelle. It didn't seem to be too bad. Here's a tip for ya- get you a plastic gas tank from a Caprice or Impala, like the 94-96 bodystyle. Its a tight fit, but it goes back in the stock location, and you got an in-tank electric fuel pump. Plus you dont have to worry about your gas tank rusting out. He had a stock Camaro harness reworked with a smaller fuse panel like you can buy at advance. I dont recall any major headaches he had with this project, but you can PM me if you decide to go thru with it and i can call him up if you got any questions.

The trans cross member is the same for a TH350 (which would've came factory in that 'Bu) and a 700R4? >_> Because I'm pretty sure the 350 is shorter from bellhousing to trans mount.
