Depending on engine bay color, I really dig the Black.

Also I would sand the top and polish the fins, that would be BAD ***!

Racin96 what intake setup is that? I like how it doesn't go all the way down to the lower bumper.

I was going to vote red until I saw the results; the black came out nice but it also looked dirty, so I voted "other." I would get the intake polished.

If you'd be interested in having a completely polished intake manifold and fuel rails, I'm in the middle of working on a set right now, which I'll have ready for sale within the next 10 days.

If you really like black and want something totally unique that nobody has, once I'm done polishing the intake manifold to a perfect mirror, I can shoot it with a coat of black candy tinted clearcoat to create a "black chrome" finish. I could leave the fins on the intake and the fuel rails polished for a nice contrast.

I can post up pics of the intake when I'm finished polishing it if you're interested.

Or if you'd prefer red, I can use a red tint in the clearcoat and have the intake come out looking like this accessory bracket idler pulley I polished:

I don't want to but the CAI is custom since my fuse box is located down where the filter would sit.

heres my intake i just had done. its a chrome powdercoat with gloss black powdercoat finish. the chrome looks a little silvery but its not bad for 70 bucks with the tb bracket and some small other stuff done.

The intake that I will be using is a 93 intake and it is boxed up and ready to be sent to AI, so I wont be purchasing another.

Please post the pics anyway, I may send it out for a custom finish at a later date.

Here is a couple pics of the rebuilt stock motor that is going in the car until the 383 is donethe fins will be polished!)

Her it was right after it was pulled out of the wrecked Z
