sold the long tube emission painted headers with y and cats i dont believe in hack jobs you can cut and weld whateva you want on yo car but i will not with mine if you dont have nothing to say to help me with my problem dont post stupid ****
and another thing it wasnt a waste of money what i do with my money has nothing to do with anyonelse thanks for the help from the people who actually posted to give me helpful information

My friend got pacesetter's a couple months ago and it was also hitting the steering linkage... right at the upper u-joint. My pacesetters I bought a long time ago fit fine. I guess pacesetter did some changes. Well on his car, we ended up grinding a little down on the u-joint since it had lots of meat anyways. We took as little off as possible while keeping it's integrity and it still works today.

brand new poly mounts went in with the new motor i just took off the linkage and grinded down where it was hitting at it should be fine now but contacting pacsetter was like talking to the wall they basically didnt care telling me to disconnect the motor mounts and try to move the motor to the right ?? he must not know anything about lt1 motors
