Tony, speaking of classes when are we going to convene the governing body to determine changes/rules from last year to this year......

I vote for custom paint jobs not allowed in any heads up classes.... Those guys must bracket race

I will be PM'ing the same selected panel a pre-written update of the rules and see what everyone says. Then we will go from there just like last time.

Ray has had some really good ideas so far. I know for a fact the raceweights will be slightly lower and each class should get faster with the changes.

If you are going t allow 10.5" tires, you should allow mini tubs. No advantage there except looks. Tires sticking is just plain ugly.

If everything goes well after a little more testing with the car this Fall, and not break anything, I,too would like to attend.

I agree on this Ed. Just can't have mini tubs allowed in the Extreme Street class. The Outlaw, P/A, N/A.....etc classes should allow mini tubs. We will see how that pans out.

Hoping someone from KC can help us find a good one. Outlaw class will be pretty much what you said.

The 10.5 X 29.5" tire size limit, is that 29.5" measured, or as stated on the sidewall. Hoosier 10.5 X 30 radials are also marked as 92.5" circumference, amd that is what they do measure. That is actually only 29.44" tall. Which are you going to go by?

I like the date for 09, I didn't make the April race because I wasn't sure if the car would be ready in time, I wrapped it up the day I was originally planning to leave to make it to KCIR, finished it on the Wednesday (3 days) before the race, but already canceled everything for the trip. I have this one penciled in for now...
