You need ceramic pads from hawk or powerstop!
Factory replacement=Junks!
Check brakemotive on ebay, they got a good price on the powerstop evolution pads. I just put installed there powerstop slotted and drilled rotors w/ceramic pads for 204.00 shipped for all 4! SOOOOO much better than stock, wooot!

To clarify, you just need Ceramic, period You could also make a brake dust cover for your rims lol It'd look goofy as heck though.

Or every week, just spray down your rims with good rim cleaner and hose them off.

I'm sure my brakes aren't quality, and are semi-metallics, yet I don't notice barely any dust!

Stay far far far away from the cheap organics too!

No to slotted or drilled. Go with a good quality rotor. I got tired of warped factory rotors, and went with Brembo blanks.

The only reason I went slotted, because I could not get regular rotors at a parts store for the price of the slotted from brakemotive. If you did not get the premium rotors from the parts store, I would replace them. If they are the premium rotors, just get ceramic pads and call it good. By premium I mean the best. Usually parts stores carry cheap replacements and a premium grade.

Many will tell you this, but I disagree. Why do All high end sports cars come with slotted and drilled rotors from the factory, Corvette z06, Ferrari, etc...
Not trying to start a argument, to each is own.

70% of your car's braking power comes from the fronts and is the reason they dust up quicker than the rears. Like said earlier just wash them once a week.

My clarification was you don't have to buy JUST from those 2 makers. Many make quality pads.

To make your wheels easier to keep clean I use this..

Poorboys Wheel sealent
http://poorboysworld.com/wheel-sealant.htm
Long lasting protection for wheels against the environment and brake dust...makes clean-ups a breeze, even on the worst wheels. Use it on any type of wheel!

It was nice when i put the new rims and tires on they let me do this first and then mounted everything up..now all i need is soap and water to clean my wheels..
