Question for all you B-body guys.
I was just curious what cars came with the 5.7 LT1 and which ones came with the baby LT1? If I remember right wasn't it just the Roadmaster's and wagons that got the 5.7?
All B body Buicks and Cadillacs had the 5.7 Liter LT1 engine.
The Chevrolet Caprice had either the 4.3 Liter L99 or 5.7 Liter LT1 engines
The L99 had the same intake and reverse cooling system as the LT1. They look the same.
Of course, the Impala SS, and Corvette and Firebirds and Camaros with V8's had the LT1.

The Caprice sedan was the only car that got the L99, there are rumors of a single wagon that got one, just rumors though. The LT1 WAS available in the Caprice sedan.
I don't know where people come up with some of it but there is a HUGE amount of missinformation on this subject.
Basically far as b-bodies go any 94-6 Caprice wagon, Roadmaster wagon or sedan, Impala, or Fleetwood was delivered with a LT1. The Caprice sedan police use or civilian can have either the LT1 or L99.
