Compression Ratio
Compression Ratio Is 11.7:1 too much for Pump gas on an LT1?
Motor's a 383 with cola crank, diamond pistons, dart pro heads ported by Biddy Winward (NHRA Hall of fame engine builder
), thats all the basics I suppose.
What do you guys think?

re probaly ok on 93, you need to figure out your dynamic compresion ratio to decide if the motor is capable of running in that compresion ratio Check out kbsilvolite for the calculator. Art

Great resource on compression and calculator at the bottom of the page. This calculator takes everything including the cam into consideration. I figured compression with this tool and had my machinist do the same, was dead on.
