Default MAF size on an LT1

OK, i dont own, nor have i ever owned an LT1 powered anything, i like em, just never had one. I have a freind out here in the sand box(Iraq) who knows im an F-body guy, and he asked me a question today about the size of the MAF on the LT1, is it a 3"? He doesent have one but he is building a turbo talon and needs a 3" MAF and says he can get the adapter cables already, just needs a 3" MAF and i told him i didnt know, but i would find out for him. thanx fellas.

yes I believe thats right...I had to buy 3in rubber boots to fit mine (very tight fit). Maybe some others can confirm for us.
