I Have seen on mustangs that when u remove the bumper support the bumper kind off pushes en at high speeds. Realy does a number on the paint. Do f-bodys not suffer from this.

my track car (that i drive to the track) has the frame horns hacked off back flush with the radiator support so i couldnt put them back on if i wanted(without welding the structure up) and doors are gutted too. my DD has the bumper supports out but no hacking incase i ever sell her i can put them back.........

hmmmmm... loose 10 lbs or get a hefty lawsuit filed against you if you got in a bad accident and the other insurance inspector sees you removed it.

or even less the damage on the car.

not worth it unless it is just for track use.

The back ones are just plastic and fiberglass, no metal at all. As mentioned, they are just for low speed collisions.
