if it takes a lsx block to achieve what we have done with a stock block. i have to say that's weak at best. if you want to impress me show me a stock block and heads ls that has ran low 6's like the ford dohc engines.

I never understood why people are proud of being limited to the stock block and a joke of an aftermarket. With all blocks available for the lsx crowd no one in their right mind would keep the stock one for a build when it would cost significantly more to build.

LOL, I mean sitting in the car with a helmet and firesuit on when it's 100 degrees out. It was torture! We all had gray LTx Shootout t-shirts on and it looked like someone doused us with a fire hose when we took our jackets off. It was brutal!

Highly doubt there's going to be a significant temperature change between August and the 1st of September. Doesn't start cooling off in the south until November.

depends on the weather. the monday after the race it was in the 70's. only thing we can do is hope for a front to push though.

That's a big no-no at the dragstrip. The a/c unit will be dripping water all over the track. They look for that stuff.
