LS1 F-Body slave/master cylinder question..

It's not a alot I know, but it does change the geometry.
Thats why there are shims out there.
Another thing that helps alot IMO is an adjustable master. If you can get the pedal to the right spot it keeps release issue at bay.
There is also that possibility that your pressure plate is at fault, just because it's new/performance doesn't mean it is good.

I noticed something odd between the yesterday and today. The position at which the clutch pedal normally sits was closer to the floor and, therefore, was harder to get into gear. This morning while in traffic, the pedal came back to its previous location and the transmission was easier to get in to gear.

Pretty odd, no?

Was the difference in pedal feel when the car was cold/low pedal, warm /back to norm?
That can be the typical hydraulic issues, a flush could help you out.

No, sir. It was completely random as far as the pedal position.
