I just bought an LS7 clutch kit with all the hydraulics from sdpc (who was very helpful), and when i opened the slave cylinder there seems to be a part that is machined incorrectly. I could be wrong, but it looks too out of place. i know that where it is on the face wouldnt make a difference, but the only part that concerns me is where it goes up the cylinder. I just want to make sure before i do the whole job tomorrow. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks.

No worries. It's machining marks from knocking off the gate on the casting. The marks going 'up the cylinder' are not of any consequence.
