how to swap to a manual????
This is for an LT1 I've done 3 of these and it is rather straigh forward. The only difference I can see is the slave setup the master cylinders are the same and the tranny mounts, pedals are the same.
Advice (at least on an LT1 and I'm sure its the same deal) Remove the steering column it takes 10 minutes and makes the pedal install MUCH easier. Also when doing the master cylinder use bolts and lock washers instead of the u bolt that ubolt is a PITA I've done it both ways. Also unbolt the brake booster and push it out of the way to install the MC. Hope that helps don't want to give any advice on wiring because it may be different it is easy on the LT1 though....
polarity does not matter. it works either way.
BTW, the TA mount is different on the 2 trannys.
