Default Is the PRO 5.0 worth it or not?

I debating on whether or not to get the PRO 5.0 shifter or just leaving the factory hurst shifter on it. If I were to switch would there be any difference, if so what would it be. Thanks for ur time.

I have a pro 5.0 and i love it. Great great shifter. I also have the umi short stick on it as well. Also you may want to post this in the manual tranmission section for future notice.

I just put mine on a little over a week ago and love the way it shifts. I've heard that the factory Hurst with a short stick is a good combo too.

i went from the factory hurst w/a ws6 store short stick to the pro5.0 setup. world of difference. pro5.0 is much better, hands down.

if you have never missed a shift with the stock hurst then i would have to think about it but i missed a few times with the stocker and after i put on the 5.0 and shortened it some also i have only missed a gear once and that was my fault. it is a good shifter.

I do NOT have a pro 5.0 but have the hurst w/ a ws6 short stick, after driving my buddies ws6 that has a pro 5.0 its no contest...its way worth it.

I have the exact same combo here (Pro 5 w/UMI short stick). Simply the best setup there is.

I have the hurst w/short stick and like it.. til I drove a buddies w/the pro5.
If you want cheap/easy get a short stick. But the pro5 dominates imo.

agreed... the pro 5.0 isnt a hurst, but its the best thing for the price. its def better for racing than the hurst (shorter throw, locks it into the gear) but DD the locking into gear thing can be kinda violent and its stiff... i love it, but if im driving and eating a cheeseburger my girlfriend cant shift the car for me, my brother even has trouble sometimes

No problem guy! It's money well spent.

I'd gotten so used to my Pro5 w/short stick, I forgot how nice it was - until a buddy had me drive his bird, factory Hurst w/standard length stick.

OMG, it was a night/day! I had to keep a straight face so as to not rag on him about his shifter...but wow, I was soooo happy to get back into my car.

Pro 5.0 as well, also got an LSS on there. Definetly a different feel than the factory one, and makes it more fun to drive.
