Default second gear grind.

k my car dosn't like second gear when i try to go into second it grinds or it just won't let me in. this only happens in winter until the trans gets warm then it is better i can usually play with the clutch a little and get it to go in. in the summer it shifts great and basiclly falls into gear so is this syncros or is it something else. i would expect syncros to do it all the time.

If you have anything but ATF in the box, that will cause cold shift problems.

good i think i broke my slave when trying to bleeb it again. i also got air out of the lies so that may also point tward a leak.
i run syncroshift 2 but it did it when i had auto trans fluid in it too so i don't think thats the problem.

If changing the ATF doesn't solve the 2nd gear grind, you may want to look into hydraulics. 1-2 is a very demanding shift as the ratio difference is the greatest versus all the gears and the slow down of the engine may not be enough to mask the "sticking clutch" issue like the other gears would. Even if its not touching enough to cause the car to move forward while having the clutch depressed, it may be close enough still to be adding power to the transmission which would really put a lot of strain on the 2nd gear syncros which would only get worse over time. Honestly the stock hydraulics are terrible.
