What next 750 to 800 rwhp next motor. My spec3 + failed again. With only 500 rwhp. 4000 lbs car I am looking something better.

I'd go with the monster level 5 or 6 depending on what you use the car for...DD go with the 5, Track mostly go level 6.

My McLeod twin disk is holding up great, but these Montser clutches look pretty interesting too.

As a side note, it may help if you provided a little more info, pics etc...for me to assess. As always I am happy to examine any issue you, or any others have. Thanks!

For that kind of power I would use the new RAM street dual. It is a twin 11 inch disc. Every other twin disc clutch that I know of uses the small 8 7/8" discs. I dont know about the Monster clutches though....what is the diameter of their discs?

By the way, I offer the Diamond Stage 3 clutch for $670 shipped (current special). It is rated at 700HP, so your power would be pushing it to the limit. It is a 12" pressure plate/disc, and a 25lb Billet steel flywheel (not one of the cheap 29lb ones).
The RAM street dual (that I posted above) is in one of my customer's cars. He is putting down 925RWHP, and paid about 1500 for the clutch. It has been the only one to hold up for him.
So, it really comes down to how much you want to spend. Let me know if I can help!

We've got tons of our clutches (right at 200 units now) on the road, most of which are driven daily. We have quite a few clutches that will work for your vehicle, just give us a call and we'll get you taken care of.

The Ram twin is actually a 10.5" disc, our old style was a "high clamp capacity" 7.25" disc, however, our disc wasn't pucked, it was solid. There is a hell of a lot more friction area on our old design than that of a pucked setup.

Our new prototype twin should be back from the engineer this week, it is a 10.5" design that will be similar to the Ram's, but, will have better friction material and a higher coefficient of friction.

I am seriously considering the Monster stage 5. Just like everyone else though, I am afraid to hit the buy button. Cluthes are not cheap and to go thru them like nothing as most have in the past it is hard to commit. I have been following these clutches over on the GTO forums and they seem to be doing very well over there in a heavy car. The 12 month warranty has me leaning very hard this way, however, most clutch companies seem to stand behind their stuff no matter the brand I just don't want to have to even think about replacement in the short term. I want to buy something that is proven and something I will not have to worry about.

Give me a call at the shop man, I'll be more than happy to go over any questions you may have.

I'd love to sell you a clutch and gain you as a customer, however, I would rather you be happy and satisfied with your purchase. I don't mind sharing my info with you on my product as well as others, not everything out there is junk.

I'm in need of a clutch, however, i'm not gonna rush into it, i'm interested to see how the monster clutches are reviewed in the next several months.
