Default HELP!!! Harlan 2-step wiring question

I got a used Harlan 2 step and cannot figure out how to wire this thing to my clutch switch. Apparently the 2-step only needs the white wire grounded to activate it. I'm pretty sure im wiring it to the correct switch at the top of the clutch pedal which has 1 green and 1 white/purple wire coming out of it. Connecting to either of those two wires cause the 2 step to be active regardless of whether or not i push the clutch in.

I want it to be active when i push the clutch in, and deactivate when i release it. Is that the right switch? Any help would be appreciated!!!!

It took me a while to figure it out and make it work that way. Mine is a C5 but maybe a similar setup. I ended up clipping the clutch switch and tie the wires together. Then bring +12v to the switch and the other wire from the clutch switch into a relay. Good luck!

According to the website, no. http://www.harlan-engineering.com/store/store.html

I also got mine used, found on the forums. A couple other places that make these are LPE and Synergy.
