Re: 99+ Silverado transfer case behind T56? I dont think its possible. Maybe if you use the T56 tail housing from a C5, but it doesnt have a shifter provision.

Re: 99+ Silverado transfer case behind T56? Try advance adapters. They make all kinds of 4wd adapters. I had a th400 tailshaft in a 700r4 going to a 205 transfer case.

Re: 99+ Silverado transfer case behind T56? i get what you mean, shifter is built into the tail, what if the tc were somehow added onto the very end of the tail where the output is?
