This happens when your muffler bearings start to wear out. Replace them and you're back in business.

That could honestly be a vast number of things. Only reason the motor levels out when you let off the clutch is because the drivetrain is keeping it spinning. When you start it up does it run like ****?

Is the 'skip" a vibration or is it a misfire????

No runs good with clutch in or out until it warms up. Then it starts.

Update...... is it possible that when you press the clutch it is forcing the crankshaft balancer out of the crankshaft sensors?

.....or maybe go to an Eclipse forum. If you didn't notice, the url for this forum is LS1TECH.COM. Not Eclipsetech.com. That might be why no one is answering, since no one is here to learn or talk about eclipses .

Oh and btw, what you described about the crank moving past the crank sensor is a symptom of crankwalk, which was already suggested by the nice picture above. Although it's fairly common in 7 bolt 4g63 DSM's and not in others, it does happen in other cars.

I gave you a possibility. You ignored it. YOU started flaming because you didn't get a reply with the right information fast enough. But yet, I'm the jackass. Thanks for the email, although it was hard to understand with all the misspellings and horrible grammar. For all you know the person who would have known the answer wouldn't have posted because he felt offended by comparing our forum to the "disney channel" and didn't want to help a jackass like you. You didn't get an answer for a question about a car not specific to this car forum and we're the jackasses? This is the trouble with people today, can't get their instant gratification then they get all pissy. Maybe if you understood that those with more knowledge than just one type of car is a much narrow spectrum, then you'd understand that it would take longer to get a response since they are not the majority that are on this site. But, that must be too much to ask. Enjoy your stay, however long it lasts.

Btw, what was wrong?
