Default LT1 T56 Dust Cover Bolts

I just finished an M6 swap on my LT1. I got a dust cover but no bolts with it. Does anybody know the exact size of the bolts. I have tried several different ones but no luck yet. Thanks.

Bumping this up. Did you ever figure out what bolt to run? I'm going to make a few calls tomorrow and see if I can figure out what the specs are. I noticed one was missing when changing my oil tonight. I'll pull the other one out and take it up to the hardware store if I don't figure something out in the next few days.

No I sure didn't. I actually just left the dust cover off. With another bolt available, it shouldn't be too hard to find a replacement. Good luck.

I made a call to the local dealership and verified a part # I was able to find after searching for a couple hours last night. They had 2 in stock (I believe you'll need 6, in my case I'm only missing one I believe.)

GM Part # is 12337828... They are pretty cheap.

Yep, that's the right part #. And you need 4. It's a good thing GM still makes them, because it's not a typical bolt.

I bought two today and put one in. I was only missing one. They ran like $0.60/each
