Default Shifter with a shorter throw

Hey guys, I just picked up my first M6 LS1. It's got the Hurst equipped from the factory but I was wondering if there was anything I could do to shorten the throw of the shifter, it's quite long as it sits. What are you guys using?

Thanks!

Isn't the hurst a pretty good shifter as it is? All I would really need would be the shorter stick right? Or are some of the other aftermarket shifters better?

Get an MGW. Best thing I've ever used. And throws are REALLY short. Built solid all around.

i just took a cutting wheel and cut the "C" part out of the stick and welded it back together... it works just as good as any short throw

yea man just use a short stick! i had a stock shifter out of a 99 z28 non hurst, then my bro bought me a hurst factory shifter and there is a huge difference. With the short stick the throws will be even shorter.

25.00 from ws6store.com u cant beat that!

Well I picked up the WS6store short stick. We'll see how it goes! I figure even if it sucks it was only $25 lol
