Default LS7 clutch or Centerforce Dual Friction?

Well about a year ago I had a Spec stage One installed. I have to say that is the Worst clutch out there. It chattered like crazy and now at only 10,000 miles it is slipping VERY badly under normal driving conditions. I read up about some LS7 guys having some proplems with the LS7 clutch. My buddy has a Centerforce Dual Friction in his 00 SS and he says its great and has given him no proplems. Let me know which one you have and which one you think would be better for my light bolt on car. Thanks guys

Monster makes some pretty interesting claims, might check them out.

I went with the LS7, the price was right when I bought it earlier in the year. Just got it back together but haven't had it on the road yet.

I never had a problem with my LS7 setup. It held in the 470 RWHP range on motor and then I hit it with a 150 shot, the clutch never slipped

Stay away from the Centerforce Dual Friction piece of junk. I have the right to call them junk, as I just pulled 4 of those out within the last 2 months. Every last one fo them died at 20k miles or less. Not good. The LS7 clutch is not designed to work with an LS1/LS6 slave cylinder. I believe that is why is seems to be a "hit or miss". I offer the Diamond Stage 2 for $550 shipped. It comes with a new flywheel. It drives better than stock and comes with the 12mo/12k mile warranty. I would be glad to help!
