Rebuilt Jasper Transmission???
my tranny is on its way out slowly but surely. i planned on sending it to tick performance and getting a level 2 rebuild, or have a shop do it here in the oklahoma/arkansas area. but a mechanic of my friend suggests a rebuild jasper tranny. ive heard and read good things about them. suprisingly, there isnt much on here about their trannies. they also come with a 3yr/100,000 mile warranty. and they for installation and everything it will cost $2500-$2700 with a $700 core that i will get back. my car will see at the very most 500-550 rwhp. and thats gonna be a couple years down the road. its at 400rwhp right now. thanks for the input. Dan.
one other thing, could my shitty transmission be robbing some horsepower or cause my car to be slower than it should be. personally, i think it would, but im not 100% sure. thanks again.

I have used their import automatic's when there isn;t a usuable core.
They are always pricey but never had a problem w/ them.
Never used their manual's though, never needed on from 'em.
There are other options for a shop for a replacement t-56 that would be cheaper.
