Ram 980 install; use the ram shims?

Ram 980 install; use the ram shims? Like said soon doing a 980 & anyone who's done a ram , did you have to use their #550 shim kit?

Ya , I dug thru enough back posts & found you other post about this & TTT'd it.
So now it's simple = just install.
