ok how do you get this off

Default ok how do you get this off

i'm having the time of my life trying to pull this stupid hose off of the hydrolic part that pushes in the pressure plate from what i understand you have to push that whit ring in and pull that hose off but it seems to be alot harder thna that. anyone have some tips on getting this thing off.

i used 2 small flathead screwdrivers and you just got to work the ring in evenly all the way around and once you do it should pop rigth out on its own

Yeah, two flat head screw drivers and a lot of patience!

Supposed to be a "quick release" but it isn't so quick. I had a hell of a time getting it off. They have special little tools to make it a little easier, but even then, after you get it all the way down, it was still a bitch to get off. I ended up having to grab it witjh vise-grips and pulling like hell. Took me like a little over an hour of pulling before I finally grabbed the grips.
