Default Mcleod Street Twin Horrible Chatter

Just installed a street twin. Installation was flawless. Chatter is awful so much dashboard vibrates up and down. Mcleod says this is rare and break it in to see if it goes away. Does anyone have any insight? Gears are 410.

Thanks

Couple guys to look for and should be chiming in are thesource, TICK, and taner. I have found those 3 guys have more info on our setups than most.

Good luck

On a LSx motor? How many miles? My street twin chattered for about 200 of the 500 breakin miles. Did you make sure to align the marks on the flywheel, mid-plate, and PP ?

Mine chatters a lil but nothing like that. It's getting better w/ miles tho.
Something dosent sound right.
U know how to drive it correctly? Sounds like the clutch is grabbing and ur still "riding" the clutch out.

My Mcleod twin is very smooth. a little grabby but no chatter. Give it a few more miles and see what happens.

Forgot to mention. Install was in a Lt1. Installation was flawless, and everything was done perfectly. I'll put some miles on it like they recommend. I hope like hell it goes away.
