Clutch Question???

Clutch Question??? Hey guys, I just picked up a 2000 WS6 yesterday. It only has 41,000 miles, and the guy I bought it from said that the clutch was replaced 'recently'. I have no idea how many miles ago...
Anyway, the clutch pedal has NO TOE play. The clutch doesn't engage until the pedal is almost all the way out. Something is definitely not right. The clutch does not slip in any gear. The current set-up just makes the person driving look like a rookie manual trans driver; lots of jerking.
Does this sound like a clutch bleeding problem or a possible clutch shim problem?

when i did my LS7 is was the same way...it didnt engage until the clutch was almost all the way out....now after about 2500 miles it feels like stock but grabs great....see if u can figure if an adjustable master is on the car and if not try bleeding it...it may not be grinding but there can be some air stuck causing the pedal to be out so far for disengagement.....
